Convert JPG to PDF in a few clicks
Scanned receipts for an expense claim, photos of a signed form, a set of screenshots for a bug report: this JPG to PDF converter puts each image on its own page and saves them as one PDF. It accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP files, and builds the PDF entirely in your browser.
Image quality
PDF can hold JPEG images directly, so JPG photos are placed in the file byte for byte, with no second compression and no loss of quality. PNG images are stored losslessly. Other formats, such as WebP, are converted to high-quality JPEG first, because PDF cannot embed them. Transparent areas become white.
Page size options
| Option | Result |
|---|---|
| Same as each image | Every page is exactly as large as its image (at 96 pixels per inch), plus the margin |
| A4, US Letter, US Legal, A5 | Standard paper pages; the image is scaled to fit inside the margins and centred |
With a paper size, Automatic orientation turns the page sideways for wide images and keeps it upright for tall ones. Choose Portrait or Landscape to force one orientation for every page. A small margin (¼ inch) keeps content clear of printer edges.
Privacy details
- Location removed: photos from phones often contain GPS coordinates in their EXIF data. JPEGs are cleaned of EXIF before they go into the PDF.
- Upright photos: phones store some photos sideways with a rotation tag. Those are turned upright first.
- No metadata: the PDF gets no author, creator or software fields.
Tips for photographed documents
When you photograph paper documents with a phone, shoot in good light from straight above so the text stays square, and crop each photo to the page with the image cropper so the PDF does not show the table around it. Choose A4 or US Letter with a small margin when the PDF will be printed or sent to an office, and Same as each image when it will only be read on screen. Large phone photos make large PDFs, so compressing them first can shrink the file a lot.
To check a photo before you use it, open it in the EXIF viewer. To make large photos smaller first, use the image compressor. For the reverse direction, PDF to JPG turns pages back into images.
