Repeat text and emoji with a text repeater
A text repeater takes whatever you enter, from a single emoji to a full paragraph, and writes it out again and again a set number of times. You choose how many copies you want, up to 10,000, and what separates them. The result is ready to paste into a chat, a document or a test fixture.
Separator options explained
The separator goes between copies, never after the last one, so there is no trailing comma or empty line to clean up afterwards.
| Separator | Inserted between copies | "Hi" repeated 3 times |
|---|---|---|
| New line | A line break | Hi / Hi / Hi on three lines |
| Space | One space | Hi Hi Hi |
| Comma | A comma and a space | Hi, Hi, Hi |
| None | Nothing | HiHiHi |
The comma option inserts a comma followed by a space, which reads naturally in prose. If you need a bare comma, for example to build a CSV row, run the output through the text replacer and change , into ,.
Example: repeating a multi-line block
Your input may contain line breaks. The whole block is treated as one unit and copied as is, which is useful for form templates or checklists.

Limits and emoji
The count must be a whole number from 1 to 10,000. There is also a size ceiling: if the input length multiplied by the count would exceed about five million characters, the tool asks you to lower the count instead of freezing the browser tab. A 600-character paragraph repeated 10,000 times (six million characters) is therefore rejected.
Emoji repeat like any other text. Length here is measured in UTF-16 code units, the unit JavaScript uses internally, and most emoji take two of them. Combined emoji such as flags or family sequences take four or more, so they reach the ceiling sooner. They may also count as several characters on sites that enforce length limits.
Common uses
- Filling a text field to test maximum length, truncation and overflow handling.
- Producing placeholder rows for a mockup when realistic filler from a lorem ipsum generator is not needed.
- Creating one long unbroken string (separator None) to see how a layout copes with text that has no spaces.
- Sending a repeated emoji, cheer or greeting in a message.
Text repeater vs. word repeater
Both tools use the same repeat logic. The word repeater starts with 20 space-separated copies, which suits single words on one line. This tool starts with 10 copies on separate lines, which suits sentences and blocks of text.
Privacy
The processing runs entirely in your browser. The text you enter is not uploaded to a server.
